Resolve fails to relink R3D files in standard xml roundtrip
Posted: Tue Oct 30, 2012 9:28 amSince a few days I'm experiencing the following issue with the standard xml roundtrip workflow with FinalCut 7 and DaVinci Resolve 9.0.3.
For some reason, while relinking the R3D files, there are quite a few shots that are not displaying video.
No video displays in the source monitor, nor in the conform/color panels and the following message appears:
"the file ... failed to link because the media file ... is missing"
The odd thing is that it worked fine until I updated the RED Camera firmware version from 3.2.16 to 3.3.14.
Only the R3D files recorded after the firmware update seem to be affected.
Any suggestions?
