Looking at the VideoHub page. On the 10x10 12G the USB-C Connection is said to be a computer interface.
On the 8x4 the USB-C Connection is said to be a Webcam output.
Q1. Is there a difference in how the VideoHub 10x10 and the VideoHub Mini 8x4 behave? Is the VideoHub 10x10 just a computer interface meaning that you remotely operate the hub but does not have any video input?
With the opposite behaviour for the VideoHub Mini, the USB connection is just a webcam but cannot be operated remotely.
Q2. Is it possible to configure the USB webcam? Is it possible to manually choose and change on the fly which of the input is routed to the USB-C connection or does always take the highest input?
My wife's charity organise conferences and wants to stream events.
I am thinking of building a flypack and integrate the VideoHub 10x10, the Atem Extreme ISO G2 and the Hyperdeck Shuttle 4K Pro.
10 inputs:- 6 cameras input
- 2 inputs from Hyperdeck Shuttle (A+B)
- 1 computer output for slides
- 1 input from Atem (Program View)
Q3. Has anybody build something similar with the existing VideoHub?I have seen a lot of YouTube video with flypack with Atem and Hyperdeck, but none with VideoHub.
Also Should I future proof it by using the newly announced the
BMD Ethernet switch instead?
