Media Express Capture VHS Audio Peak Lock -Distorted
Posted: Wed Apr 30, 2025 3:50 pmI'm capturing VHS tapes that were recorded in EP mode. There are gaps between recordings, causing the audio levels in Media Express to peak and stay locked at peak.
I hear audio popping between recordings, which might be causing this problem. Once the meter audio levels peak, the audio recording mostly has no sound and some distorted peaks afterward.
The only way I've found to fix this is to restart Windows. Is there a way to reset the driver to unlock the audio?
I'm using Windows 10 with the latest updates and Blackmagic software.
