Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to 3G SDI LUT Issue

PostWed May 28, 2025 12:34 am

I have a Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to 3G SDI that I'm trying to use to convert a signal coming out of a phone (Samsung S25 Ultra). I'm also trying to use the LUT function to apply a full to legal scaling lut. The image coming out of the SDI is strange. The blacks appear inverted and are now white. I've tried a couple of different LUTs. I've even tried a null lut, just no corrections exported out of resolve and it is still outputting weird inverted white/blacks (screenshot attached). I've tried updating the converter app to the latest and updating/rebooting the converter and still, inverted blacks. Signal coming out of the phone is a full range HDMI 1080p 60fps.
