Is anyone successfully using a Z77 chipset mainboard with Blackmagic Intesity Pro cards?

@Blackmagic
Can you already recommend a Z77 mainboard that works with the BMID or maybe one of the Thunderbolt mainboards just to be future-proof?

Thanks & kind regards
Philipp

Phillipp,

I have an Intensity Pro running on a AsRock Z77 Extreme4 board with Win 8 64 bit, and the latest BM Drivers. So far everything has been running fine.

B

I've got a Gigabyte Ga-Z77-D3H, not sure if thats in the same category but I cannot get the intensity shuttle to work. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm curious how you got it working as well.

Mysetup is

Asrock Extreme 4 Z77 Motherboard
intel i5 3570k
ATI 6950 2GB Video Card

I've tried both sets up USB 3.0 ports, I plug in the shuttle, it recognizes it, it updated the firmware on it. But I get a "Device will run faster on superspeed usb3.0". I can see the shuttle in device manager, but I get No settings required in the BMI Control panel. I know the board has 2 usb controllers, is there a way to switch between them? Maybe i'm on the wrong one.

Otherwise, i'd hate to have a 200 dollar paper weight.

Hi,
I'm using the Intensity Pro with two Asus models, P8Z77-M and P8Z77-V LK.
The Intensity Pro usually works anywhere (the Shuttle requires more patience...)
