remote grades and pre conformed EDL

I do a lot of TV. Is there a way to use remote grades but use a single file imported using the pre conformed EDL option? I want remote grades to look at the source TC and name in the EDL and pretend every shot is from a bucket of original camera files. Is this possible? Any thoughts? This would be great for a first pass on a TV show. My EDLs usually have good names and source timecode.
