Hey guys,

Just posted a free FCPX-Resolve workflow tutorial on my site, and there's a bunch of other FCPX tutorials there as well. Check it out, let me know what you think/what I missed/etc.:

It looks like it is working for you like it did for me before the upgrade in version to FCPX 10.0.6 and Resolve 9.0.3

Can you give the exact versions of both applications you're using?

Which version of OSX?

Thank you,

Thanks for the complete overview.

What might be worth to mention is that if you let FCP X create "optimized media" (prores), the exported XML will still refer to the original media files.

This becomes a problem if the original media has a codec that Resolve doesn't support (such as AVCHD). In that case the only solution I found so far is to edit the location of the media files in the exported XML yourself before importing it into Resolve.
Mac Studio M2 Ultra, 128GB RAM, UltraStudio 4k mini, Mini panel, SpeedEditor, Areca RAID6 (hdd) + OWC thunderblade V4
macOS Sonoma 14.2.1, DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.6.4
