Intensity Extreme frame drops while recording

I'm having problem recording using Intensity Extreme because of frame drops.

My system is Mid 2011 27-inch iMac with 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, 12 GB of RAM AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB

and I'm recording on built in hard drive of the iMac.

I'm trying to record xbox360 screen using QuickTime Pro but frame drops makes game nearly impossible.

Not as bad but there are frame drops in Media Express software.

Is there any solution for this? :o

HI,

Sounds like you're trying to record using a video codec that requires more bandwidth than what your hard drive can sustain.

Try using the Media Express software we provide with the installer and pick another format such as Apple ProRes?
