Tips for reducing UltraStudio SDI Lag

Running Davinci Resolve Lite, soon to upgrade to the full version.

Computer Setup

Asus P9X79 Pro Motherboard with i7 3930 (overclocked to 4.7 Ghz)
32gb of Ram
GTX690 4GB
UltraStudio SDI monitoring to HDMI Plasma

I'm currently experiencing almost a one second lag/delay between the playback on the GUI monitor and on my HDMI plasma connected via UltraStudio SDI.

Any tips on how to optimize my setup to reduce this lag? Its really quite annoying!

There is a 12 frame delay between the GUI display and the HD-SDI output of a DeckLink HD Extreme 3D card in playback mode. It's probably the same for the UltraStudio SDI. There is no way to eliminate this delay. There is probably another frame or more of delay in the display itself.

Thanks for the reply. Is there then a way to delay the start playback on the GUI to match the output of the Ultrastudio SDI? Also thanks for letting me know about the DeckLink as I was going to ask next if a DeckLink had less lag.

There is no way to make the GUI and video outputs be in sync.

I really wished this was not the case. May I suggest that you add this to the list of new features in the future? Thanks for the reply.
