What is the best way to download files if your computer doesn't have Thunderbolt?

Check out the thread in Cinematography on SSD Options:

Basically you want a docking station for the SSD that you remove from the BMCC to transfer data to your computer. Many people want Thunderbolt but some, like you, are considering alternatives. I don't know what you have available but eSata or Firewire 800 may be what you would use. The Seagate GoFlex may be a solution because they offer different interface adapters such as TB. So you might begin now with FireWire 800 and use TB in the future. I'm not endorsing a product so search on the Internet for a SSD dock supporting the ports you have (and one day you will have TB so look for TB as an option on the dock).
