Hi again,
I just purchased an UltraStudio Express and it seems to work just fine with Quicktime applications in 32 bits. When queried, the device responds with a series of sub-devices (which seem to match all of the supported input resolutions of the device). Selecting the right one gets you video input, and all is well. I've tested HDMI and composite inputs, and all works as it should.
In 64 bits, however, QTKitCapture reports a single device ("Blackmagic"), but no frames are captured either in composite or in HDMI (I have no way of testing the other inputs at the moment). I've set the proper inputs in the Blackmagic System Preferences panel, but the end result is always the same: no frames.
Again, in my testing this only affects apps running in 64 bits. Is this a known issue?
