Multicam grading on Resolve

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone had a tip to easily manage and grade multicam programs ?
Is there a way to group each clips according to its camera ?
So far, the best solution I found was to split cameras on different tracks in FCP, then send to resolve.
It's OK but I would like to be able to do it directly in Resolve. I don't always have FCP installed on the grading machines I work on.

With the xml/aaf workflow, clips will automatically be linked according according to file, even with multicam edits.
"By default, any clips that refer to the same file in the Media Pool are linked and share the same Remote versions of grades that are applied to them. For example, two clips that are close-ups from the same take refer to the same media file, so they’re both automatically linked to one another and share the same remote grades." -pg. 227 resolve 9 manual

I use Timeline thumbnail mode Source or Record.
You can access this via the view drop down menu.
Record shows edit order in the timeline.
Source gives you shooting order based on reel and timecode.
In source mode you can see all A camera back to back, it is then easy to copy and group grades together.

I use it a lot for music videos and dramas.

Unfortunatly, I recently had to grade several multicam on Resolve 8 but the clips weren't linked. Maybe the edits were misprepared.
Anyway, I'll give it a new try on V9.
