resolve crash when press the disable all node, HELP PLEASE!

Hi Expert,

Please see the following images, when I press the disable all node, sometimes the node changed to very weird
color, such as pink or green, and the image on the monitor also changed to ping or other strange color.

If I press the disable all node buttons in the elements control panel for one shot, the resolve crashed and quit.

What is the problem?

The resolve is 9.0, the file is dpx with tiff matte, the cpu is 2x2.66Ghz 6-core intel xeon, the memory is 6GB 1333 MHZ DDR3. The software is MAC OS X LION 10.7.5(11G63)

Hi, you don't mention enough hardware details inc GPU type and vram, but your system RAM size is certainly too small. You can try v9.1 but I think you also need to double the ram if you can.

The GPU is QUADRO4000.

I doubt the problem may due to the tiff matte file, I convert the tiff to dpx by Resolve, it looks better, but sometimes crash too.

How big the memory should be ok for running the Resolve?

You certainly need more RAM.

BM config recommends 12 Gb or more and minimum of 8.
