Davinci Lite Installation

Hi,

I'm new to Davinci Resolve Lite (v. 9.0.4) and just getting started playing around with it (I'm thinking of purchasing the BM cinema camera and want to familiarize myself with Davinci a little first). When I log in on my iMac 10.8.2 I get a message the "Your current hardware configuration is not able to support maximize realtime performance". Will Davinci lite still perform given this message? Did I miss something in the installation process? If so is their an easy way to find what I have missed? Will Davinci lite still perform given this message?
