Hi,

Is it possible to change the output mode in the "12G-SDI to Quad SDI converter", so that it outputs 2SI (2 sample interleave) instead of Square Division Quad Split?

We need to convert the fill and key output of our Decklink 12G card, in order to feed it into an ob-truck. The vision mixers they are using (Sony & Grass Valley) does not support the quad split mode (unless one is willing to sacrifice most of the features such as keyers and DVE).

Hi Jonas,

The mini switches allow you to select the quad output as described on page 35 of the manual. If the input is 12G-SDI and switches 8 and 7 are set to ‘off’, the output will be interleaved quad link. The switch settings are also printed on the bottom of the converter.

The quad output can also be set in the utility and Smart Panel if connected.

I hope this helps.

Can I assume from the above this converter will take in 12g and output Square Division Quad?
ESPN is being very specific on terminology for the converter I need to buy for the US Tennis Open this year.
