UtraStudio and Ultrascope

PostThu Jan 31, 2013 2:22 pm

We have bought a Pocket UltraScope and a UltraStudio SDI.
If we try to install UltraScope program on a PC with a Desktop Video program already installed, the installation stops.
There is any way to have UltraScope and Desktop Video installed on the same computer?

Thank you

Try it the other way around. Install Ultrascope first, and then install Desktop Video.

I've tried both (first UltraScope and then Desktop Video, and first Desktop Video and then UltraScope) but the result is the same: I can't install the second program because the first is already installed.
Any suggestion?
Thank you

I think both the programs are not compatible with each other. Or their may be a problem with their size. There may not be enough space for the second program to get installed after first program is installed.

Ahh, the infamous BMD installation bug (I call it a bug anyway). This is the same with the ATEM software. Once you install it (it does include the Desktop Video software), you can't install updated Desktop Video software, you have to wait until it's included with the ATEM software.

Now, a possible work-around. Uninstall whatever you have installed. Download the ATEM 1M/E software and install it. Reboot. Try and connect each device one at a time, because I know it includes the drivers for the Ultrastudio, and believe it may contain the drivers and software for the Ultrascope (since the 1M/E has an Ultrascope built into it).

Ok, I succeeded in both program installation, installing ATEM software. I had to install Pocket UltraScope drivers manually (installing UltraScope on another computer and copying drivers), and I have to connect by turns the devices (UltraStudio SDI or Pocket UltraScope) according to the program I want to use.

Thanks
