Hi all...
I'm sure this has been asked about a thousand times, but I need a definite answer.
I've been seriously considering getting the BMCC, before I do I want to know that DaVinci Resolve will work on my system(s). I downloaded DR Lite and installed a few programs such as BM Desktop Video, RedRocket and CUDA. When I load up DaVinci Resolve I get "No OpenCL Acceleration Hardware Detected!".
My Mac specs:
Macbook Pro
13-inch, mid 2012
Processor 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)
From what I've read it seems DaVinci Resolve isn't awfully fond of the 13 inch macs. Surely there has to be some software to download or hardware to buy to get this working. I'm a student so I don't exactly have the cash flowing in and everything I've saved is going toward the camera, so buying a new mac isn't really an option I can afford.
Please note that I'm not particularly tech savvy.
I also have an older Windows Laptop (running Vista), tried giving a go on there to but no luck, something about missing a component.
If anyone can help me that would be very much appreciated.
Cheers
Matt .D.
