Hi:
I keep getting the error message "SFPlayConsumer: Execute TIMEOUT" while playing my timeline.
I have changed the quality to best performance and draft performance, I've changed the format from 1080i/50 to 25i PAL but I still get the error message and I end up restarting over and over.
Is there any fix for this??

Notes:
OS: Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate SP1
Product: UltraStudio SDI USB 3.0
Driver Version: Blackmagic_Desktop_Video_Windows_9.0.0
Editing Software: Avid Media Composer 6.0.0

I assume you are getting this error message in Media Composer? Are these from files created via Resolve? What was the input format before the new render? Do the soure clips on their own and not just in the timeline?

Yes it's in avid media composer 6.0.0 software.
Are these from files created via Resolve?
No it's not from Resolve software.
What was the input format before the new render?
Panasonic P2 "AMA Files".
Do the source clips on their own and not just in the timeline?
I have did it and I still getting this error message "SFPlayConsumer::Execute TIMEOUT"

Note:
when I disconnect the UltraStudio SDI card it doesnt show this error message again in AMC 6.0.0.

Hi Michael,
Sorry to try and dig this thread out of hibernation, but what was your reasoning to ask if Resolve was involved in this workflow? Would Resolve MXF files in Avid have the potential to cause this error?

Not necessarily - are you running the latest update for the hardware? Seeing as the media plays fine without the hardware, it seems there is an issue on the output.
