Resolve HELP!!

Im working on Resolve 9.1. Ive imported my XML from Final Cut X and when I'm coloring a clip from the timeline its applying that change to every clip that was from the clip from the shoot. how do I color each clip individually? This is prob a stupid question but i cant find it anywhere. Thanks!

Is it right click "Use Local Grades"?

Yes, a 'local version' refers to only the individual clip. A 'remote version' refers to the actual file that clips come from - so any clips from the same source file share the grade.

You can right click and just 'use local grades' as you say, or it may be that in future you only want to tweak certain clips but let others share grades so you can on a clip basis right click and load the first local version (or create new local versions).
