Problem conforming multiple resolutions timeline

Hi everyone,
I'm working right now on a project with different resolution in the same timeline.
It has been edited on FCP 7. The timeline is in 1440x1080 but inside there is also a lot of
1920x1080 shots.
When I'm conforming this in resolve, the Timeline is set to 1440x1080, by the XML, but the problem is that the 1920x1080 are sizied down so black bars appears top and bottom, and the 1440x1080 are stretched.
Nothing compare to the timeline I have in FCP.

What is the solution?

you have the setting for "scale in input" to fill the whole image?

1) try to import the XML without scaling settings
2) check if the "scale image to fit" timeline is the setting you expect..

Thank you for the lead Walter. It wasn't exactly that but I played with the sizing option of my timeline and the good one was "strech to all corners". So everything fill the image in 1440x1080 and when you conform it back in FCP everything goes back to normal!
