Avid AAF "can't be opened for reading"

Hi, all!

I've been given AAF files with embedded media from a Avid Mediacomposer 6.0.2 or 6.0.3 system. I can import those files into Media Composer on the same machine, where Resolve is installed, but I cannot import the AAFs into Resolve directly. Error" XXX can't be opened of reading"

I found a thread abou the same issue from '11 on Creative Cow, but no solution there, too

I'm on OSX 10.8.3 and are using Resolve 9.0.3 just downloading 9.1.3, but I got a hunch that that won't help.
