Tonal Range Log Control

PostThu Apr 18, 2013 4:45 pm

Hi !
I am new to DaVinci Resolve and what i have to say is... wow, it will change my color correction process for ever (I was doing my grading on Premiere Pro, and i have a lot of trouble to manage long projects)
And i just finish to read the entire DaVinci Resolve Manual and there is just one feature that i miss (or that i didn't found) compare to Premiere Pro (with the "3-Way Color Corrector" effect) : the ability to see a Black Grey White representation of the Tonal Range for the Log Control.

I found how to adjust it (Low Range, High Range and Contrast Control) but not how to previsualize the areas of influences.

Here an exemple on how it look like on Premiere Pro :

Any idea ?
Thanks :)

So i suppose there is no solution ^^

Anyway, i know Davinci Resolve is leader since years, but you have to admit that a feature like that is not a bad thing and radicaly change the workflow of Resolve.

Consider that as a feature request. :D

It miss me. Trust me.
