Intensity Extreme - HDMI from tablet via thunderbolt

PostSat May 11, 2013 5:01 am

I have successfully captured HDMI video and audio from my iPad to laptop using Intensity Extreme via thunderbolt and Blackmagic Media Express. However, when I connect my Asus Transformer Prime TF201 tablet (android 4.1.1) I am only able to capture video from the desktop. When I run an app the video goes black. Any ideas why this happens and how to resolve?

I suspect that when the app runs it either puts out a protected stream or a non compliant frame size which the intensity can't capture
