Unexpected color flashes on export frames

Hi,

First time actually rendering out of Davinci Reolve 9 (Lite) and I'm getting all these strange color flashes on quite a few frames here and there.

Specs I'm using:
Macbook Pro 17"
2.5 Ghz i7
16 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 RAM
Lion 10.7.4
AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MB

Is this a hardware issue?
Anyone else experienced this before? And know how to fix it?!

This seems similar to the following issue:

Sounds like the 10.8 ATI driver fixes this. Alternatively, you could try reducing your render speed and see if that helps.

Tried reducing my render speed all the way down to 1%, and different output formats, but still the same problem.
Likes like I'm going to have to (very reluctantly) switch to Mountain Lion... Damn.
