Teranex 2D future scaling enabled?

Any idea if a future firmware update will allow the Teranex to zoom into a HD SDI input using the Aspect controls. Currently it supports SD to HD up and down converts. I need to have it capable of scaling without up and down converts as well.

UPDATE: There will be a "Adjustable Aspect" software update feature for the 2D model being released this summer.
It is already in the 3D model which started shipping a few weeks ago. It is being ported over then released.
