Hi all, we have just posted on the BMD support web site DaVinci Resolve 9.1.5. This is a no charge update for existing Mac, Windows and Linux users. There is also a 9.1.5 Lite for Mac and Windows users.

There are no database changes for this update so it should be simple to install and we recommend that you do so when your project schedule permits.
Peter

What's new in DaVinci Resolve 9.1.5
• Support for Avid Media Composer 7.0 round-trip
• Support for reel names from FCPX XML
• Support for Avid EuControl Software Package Version 3.0
• Improved handling of multi-track Quicktime audio files
• Improved DNG format support
• General performance and stability improvements

Thanks, Peter. Could you elaborate on "Support for Avid Media Composer 7.0 round-trip"? Is this an improvement in the round-trip functionality, or was something broken and I just didn't realize it? Sorry to ask, I couldn't find any info past that one line in the notes...

"Improved handling of multi-track Quicktime audio files"

sorry no change for us. real mess. having massive troubles, Resolve 9.1.5 even more unstable than before, keeps crasshing, having a nightmare with clients. We tried to install 9.1.5 mid project because previous version would not accept quicktime and kept showing the "QTDecoder" error message of death

not sure what to do, tried to uninstall Resolve completely and re-install from 9.1.5 but I would LOVE to go back to 9.0.3, the last decent version of Resolve.

WHERE CAN WE FIND THE INSTALLER FOR 9.0.3??? WE NEED A RESOLVE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!

All previous versions of full Resolve are available on the BMD web site in the support area. Go to the Resolve software download area, and select the "Archived drivers" link. Link below is for Mac versions:

Marco,
Your experience is quite different to our feedback from many others. There are significant overall improvements since 9.0.3 and if something in your workflow is broken since then we would like to learn the detail. Please at your leisure contact your local BMD support office, in UK, so someone there can assist and grab details.
thanks
Peter
