Bug? 16b6 UI: losing drag and drop

PostSun Jul 14, 2019 9:13 pm

Dont know if there are other users experiencing this, maybe is more noticeable depending on personal workflow: sometimes, double clicking a clip in media pool to load in source viewer, causes the UI to lose ability to drag and drop clips, from media pool or the source viewer to the timeline, or reorganize bins.
Switching project doesn't cure, restarting DR yes. Dragging clips in the source viewer prevent the issue. Reset UI layout doesn't cure the issue.

Present on 16b5 and 16b6, Linux, AMD R7 1700 32gb, vega56, Mesa + rocm 2.6
Thank you

When you see this happen next, can you capture the logs and post?

Same here on my Linux install. Wonder what's causing it.

Here a log archive

working only with drag and drop seems to not prevent the bug

Update: effects library seems unaffected, can drag transitions and FX when you cant drag clip thumbnails from media pool anymore

dragging luts, powergrades etc. also not affected.
Only clips on timeline basically. Still really annoying.

Seems that setting the media pool to list view instead of thumbnails view, lets you drag clips again. But the ability to drag the clip from source viewer is lost anyway.

Anyone can confirm this?
