Davinci Resolve Two Monitors?

PostFri Oct 18, 2019 1:16 pm

I installed Resolve 16.1 on my Macbook.
Now i'm searching for a way to get the second display connected to my macbook get to use with resolve.
Tried the dual options but doesn't succeed.
I've seen a Youtube Video "Full Screen External Display on DAVINCI RESOLVE - No hardware or Plugin [100 free preview]" in which is the
Option "FullScreen Viewer on" is shown. But unfortunately in 16.1 final i don't find this option in the menu.
Any hint oder other way to use two displays?

I'm having the exact same issue. - I am on the Studio version, but can't enable full screen. That was one of the main reasons I upgraded to the Studio version.

Gigabyte Aorus Master Z390 board
I9 9900K CPU
32 Gig ram
Windows 10

Until the update to 16.1, non-beta, I've been using the full-screen function just fine.
Ctrl-f works, but I can't show the video full screen to a secondary monitor.

They've changed the wording. You'll find the selection for Full-Screen preview on 2nd monitor under
Workspace - Video Clean Feed - Display 2 (e.g.)

Found out that Full view on second monitor only works dual screen off (of course). I selected primary display 1 (first monitor) , free viewer display 2.

However if I select dual screen, I get the dual displays reversed: primary display on my second monitor, secondary display on the first monitor.
In the menu the 'primary display' had changed from 1 to 2.

Selecting dual screen off does not reverse the change to the original situation. The full view is still on the second monitor 'behind' the primary display.

Had no problems before with two monitors. Is this a bug, is there a fix?
