I've been digging deep into FL on 15b6 with some more complex test audio projects. I routinely use clip-based volume envelopes in the Edit and FL pages, i.e., I place key-frames, control the curves, etc. Immensely useful. Can we get the same kind of control for Pan or any other audio effect, even on a track level?
Track-based key-frame automation for Pan, etc. is indeed possible, I know, as shown through drop-down menus in the FL track headers. However, I don't want to record key-frame envelopes in real time, such as by riding a fader or moving the pan control around with a mouse while the playhead moves.
It would be terrific, even at a track level, to select Pan or any parameter from a VST effect from the drop-down menu, see a corresponding track envelope appear (like the default volume), then click on the envelope to precisely place key-frames and edit the curves exactly in the way that is now possible with volume only.
Would other editors find this useful, or am I alone? Is this a feature to be implemented (as if BMD doesn't have a long enough list
