Crash when creating new database

I've been a Resolve user for 3 years now and I've always been able to solve the few problems I've encountered. This one has me stumped so I'd like some help, please.

Each time I attempt to create a new database Resolve crashes. After relaunching, the new database appears in the list of available databases but will cause a crash if I select it.

Today I completely uninstalled Resolve and removed the Davinci Resolve folders from both the ProgramData folder and the c:\users\myname\Appdata folder. After re-install with a clean slate, I can create a new database but, as soon as I restore my operating databases, and select the newly created database Resolve will crash.
Any attempt after the first crash to create a new database results in another crash.
