Window Size not Remembered and Maximised

I would like the programs window size to be remembered and restored when I reopen the application. Currently what happens is:

• The Window is sized to full screen
• The Window is maximized

I can see why you might want to maximise the window (at least for the first startup, but perhaps that could be an option).

But also sizing the window to full screen is just overkill, very annoying and doesn't even achieve anything other than making it hard for someone to change the size to what a user really wants it to be.
