Maintain panel focus after screen change

PostTue Jun 18, 2019 10:41 am

It would be super nice if you folks would remember what panel had the focus the last time a screen is activated.

For example, I have the timeline panel selected for the focus on the edit page. I switch to the color page and back again and now one of the viewers has the focus.

Resolve has always been this way, it's not a bug :). Would just be nice to have a fix for this :)

This would be a nice addition.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

It's clear that BMD has plenty of time to add new features, but this feature is not something that they can implement. Seriously? I have over 40 years of software development experience. If your team is not competent enough to implement this, give me access to the code base and I will be happy to implement it for you for free.
