Resolve crashing shortly after opening project

Greetings!

I'm hoping someone can lend aid, as I have searched the forum to no avail. I am using Resolve 16 on Windows 10 Professional system using a Pentium Core i7 with 16gb of memory. This is a year old Dell Precision Workstation that still works like a champ. I am having an issue opening Resolve. However, after opening a project, Resolve will cash within a minute or so after the project opens. I have uploaded the system configuration and crash logs here:

The only change to my system since the last time Resolve functioned properly, was the install of the Universal Audio Apollo audio interface, and related driver. I can't see how this would create an issue, but maybe there's someone smarter than I that can put 2 and 2 together.

Interspersed with the Resolve crashing, there is also Realtek audio manager crashing. So perhaps adding the Apollo device and driver really is causing some sort of issue.

How hard is it, as a test, to remove that, and see if things work better?

Thank you for getting back to me. Since I'm going to be using the Universal Audio Apollo as my audio interface, I hope there's another workaround. If I uninstalled the drivers and shut down the interface, that wouldn't solve my issue, as I'm going to need to reinstall the drivers and power up the device, as it is the interface I am using. Is there some setting within DR that might need to be changed?

Once again, I have no problems with crashes after DR starts. It's only after I try and create or open a project.

As I mentioned, remove the Apollo stuff AS A TEST.

Not even sure that it's related at all. Hopefully that test would show if the issue is in this area or not.

Hey Dwaine! I just uninstalled all of the drivers associated with my Universal Audio Apollo Twin USB. However, I still get a Davinci Resolve crash. I have placed the updated log file in the same folder noted previously in this thread. I left the old log file in there as well...just in case there's something to be culled by comparing the two. Please provide a project export .drp of the PVC - SHOW TEMPLATE - 062619 project.

Again, only as a test, temporarily move the MPC Logo.png file to a different folder, so this Resolve project cannot see the file.

Does Resolve still crash when you load the project?

I moved that file and started DR and opened the session. It was only open for about a minute, then just crashed. I just uploaded the log files to the same folder so you could see what happened. Thanks again for working with me on this...very much appreciated.

You are still using 16b6. Can you try 16b7?

It seems to be crashing when you load that project.

If you start a new project, and just put a Resolve generator on a new timeline and make it into a compound clip, can you play that and do grading on it without crashing?

Hey Dwaine! I just installed the update. I went to start a new project. Once opened, I pulled some video in. Within a few seconds, DR crashed again. I just uploaded the log files from this incident.

Open Windows System Information, and do a File - Save which will create a .NFO file and post that.

There is a newer Intel HD graphics driver on the Dell site for your PC. Give that a try.

I updated the graphics driver. I also looked at the "Service Tag" specific recommended updates that Dell gave. One of those was the Realtek audio driver (which you mentioned before was showing up with an error). So, after updating those drivers, as well as the other recommended drivers, it looks like things are working OK for the time being. I opened an existing edit session and am letting it play. It used to crash after a minute or less, but now its' been open for a while. So, I'm thinking that bringing the drivers up to date resolved any issue that was hanging out. I'll post here again if an issue pops up, but it looks like we're golden. Many thanks for your expert look into the issue...you saved me a lot of headache!
