So, you mean: you want to save the
hue selection that you make in the Hue vs. Hue and apply to all the other curves? I think this is hard to do for the simple reason that every curve is responsible for changing a different thing.
There's a point where I'll reach for one of the Curves every time when I know the results I need, but sometimes I decide a Qualifier is a better way to go, and I jump over a few hoops (like using tracking masks and very soft qualifiers) to make sure it won't "break" and reveal artifacts in playback, especially under different lighting conditions. I think Color Slice in Resolve 19 will be another fantastic tools for operations like this.
A lot of the operating methodology boils down to, "grab what works best for you and what gives you the fastest results." For me, I'm not going to do a specific Hue vs. Hue curve and a specific Sat vs. Hue curve on the exact same thing in the same shot. That's at the point where I use a qualifier instead... and they can work even though they are very different.
