Tear Off panels

PostSun Apr 28, 2024 6:48 pm

It would be great if we can tear off panels and move the around different connected monitors.

For example, I have three monitors, I would like the source monitor to be on the left, the timeline monitor on the right and the timeline, bins and effects on the third monitor below them which is currently not possible when I cannot not edit the panels layout or tear the panels off.

Welcome to the forum.

Long-standing discussion. Many would like this ability. A few think we’re better without it. In any case, BMD hasn’t acted on many years of these requests so it’s not likely it’ll happen anytime soon.

Yeah, I asked for it (literally) in 2010. So it's a thing.

My take is, if it were easy to implement, they would have provided a user-modifiable UI a long time ago.
