Support of the .ass subtitle format

All in the title.
It's a pretty cool one, in a video player, it highlights each word.

What's interesting with it is that when a video is played back with it in a video player like VLC, each word are highlighted in green and underlined.

Being able to import it, and have control over this

+1 to this. Neither the manual, or Resolve itself makes it clear which formats exactly does it support. Doesn't seem it even properly supports the formats it claims to support, some DFXP files can't be imported, and there's no error message, and same with TTML and VTT.

I'm not an expert by any means, but ASSA seems to be the most feature rich format, and yet is elegant, compact and easy to parse.

ASSA - Advanced Sub Station Alpha (*.ass)

ASSA is an advanced subtitle format that supports most of what you could possibly imagine regarding text formatting and animation.

This format (beginning with SSA) was created by the programmer Kotus in 1996 with the anime fansubbing community.

It all makes sense.
