Hi All. I'm new to daVinci so please bear with me. I set it up, marked my footage, cut the access off and now I can't turn the cut (razor blade) icon off. I can't continue with any annotation as it only gives me the option to cut it, which I don't want. The icon is showing red. It won't close.
1. You can Alt+Select all the video clips and Disable (D).
2. You can also Alt+Click the Auto Track Selector for V1, which will turn off all the other tracks, and then regular click V1 to turn that one off. It's two clicks instead of one, but faster than clicking for every video track.
My Biases:
You NEED training. You NEED a desktop. You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
