Adding subtitle track to fairlight page

PostThu Jun 12, 2025 8:03 am

as the title suggest. My workflow always involves writing subtitles for my video first, then moving to Fairlight to record the voiceover while reading the subtitles. Not having the subtitle track in the Fairlight makes it difficult for me to identify which keyframe I had a subtitle during my recording, and I often miss it.

or if anybody has any workaround that I can learn? I'm not a professional, just a normal creator hoping to improve my workflow, not having to switch to edit and Fairlight page back and forth just to check if I missed out on my recording

In version 20, you can now record your VO on the Edit page.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
