A better DCTL browser

PostMon Jun 30, 2025 5:06 pm

I really wish for a better DCTL browser with categories, search function, better overview ie.

It's become more and more messy to find stuff in there. I started to put everything in folders and then appending an empty DCTL as a visual indicator between groups of DCTLS. But that's a hack that shouldn't be necessary, and only a minor help and a lot of work to keep it clean.

What if you stored each DCTL as a single PowerGrade node, and then dragged it over to the node tree when you needed it? That's a fast and efficient way of grabbing one without scrolling and endlessly searching for the specific DCTL you need.

that does not work, we are talking about the actual DCTL OFX in the resolve main and this has been discussed before as a severe shortcoming.
I should not scroll the list fo 100s DCTL in a random order just to find the one I want.

at least replicate the folder structure as in teh LUT folder.

Agreed-- I'd like to be able to at least control the sort order of DCTLs, LUTs, all that stuff.
