Top level visible setting for clip / Frame tracker mode

PostSat May 08, 2021 11:58 pm

While we all know the colour page animation tools need an overall… a simple thing that could easily be added is some kind of visual indication of whether you are in Clip or Frame mode on the tracker panel. This is too important to be hidden away - it’s very easy to assume the setting is on Clip (and accidentally animate) or worse - think you are animating but accidentally have it set on clip!

I’d love this to be a visible toggle under the viewer, and / or a coloured indicator on the tracker page dot.

The Clip/Frame box highlights the current mode. For me that's enough indication because I don't really need to know unless I am using the tracker.

I think a more obvious highlight on the selection buttons would be a good idea.

As it’s a mode that has an effect without the tracker interface visible (ie you can be in frame mode and not realise it) I’d love some top level indication of the current state.

For simple animation of shapes frame mode is quite handy, even if you aren’t tracking.

I also think the current indicator is sufficient.

I was thinking either / both of these. Clickable icon under the viewer would be more useful
