Request: Please make "Selection Follow Tracks" to select subtitles.

When working on subtitles it will be a great help to disable video/audio trackes (despite visible) and auto select the current subtitle through the natural playhead position on the timeline.

It will save a lot of mouse travels down to select on the timeline and up again on the inspector, so the use of the mouse will be nearly unrequiered when editing subtitles, as the cursor will always stay over the subtitle textbox.

A better approach might be a shortcut for the Previous and Next operations we have now in the Subtitle editor.

Have you actually used subtitles? What you propose is not better because it's much easier to navigate on the timeline.

From one to the next in sequence?

You don't always want to go from one to the next. There are a number of other deficiencies as well, including constant mouse clicking, between navigation and entry. Again, actual experience with subtitle editing on long-form projects might be informative.
