I agree 100% with Jim. I think this is very, very dangerous. Longtime Resolve users will remember that we
used to be able to delete source files on the drive with a command on the Media Page, and I went into shock the first (and only) time I did this, years ago.
To me, the right way to manage media is to sort the on the Media page files by Usage, delete the ones from the bin that aren't being used in the project, and then Media Manage to copy only the used files to a new drive (or a new folder, your choice). Once you're sure it's working, then you can get rid of the unused files from the actual drive using delete in the operating system.
