Subtitles into Youtube/Vimeo Deliver Presets

PostTue Aug 04, 2020 1:32 am

Just wondering if I'm missing something myself or whether this is a feature that needs to be added in the future. I am trying to adopt a workflow of exporting and delivering my cuts for clients straight from Resolve's interface and so far, videos without subtitles work fine. But when I do use the subtitles tool in Resolve, it seems there's no way to get these within the Youtube and Vimeo presets included. Any workarounds for this at the moment, or perhaps in next Resolve update?

In the video tab of the delivery page scroll all the way down for export subtitles and check the burn in option.

Thanks for the reply iddos, but Im talking specifically about the Youtube and Vimeo presets that auto upload to these sites. Would be fantastic to be able to burn in subs in these too although yes, the sites have subs funciton...

Your right.
I never use these presets. Didn’t know that there is no sub burn in option in them.

Here in Chile most of times its for the people with hearing problems. Mr. Black Magic read this!

Yes this would be very helpful. There is an option for "data burn-in" maybe in the data burn-in box there could be an options for subtitle tracks?

you can use H.264 Mater setting to export video with subtitles

Quality: Restrict to 10000 kb/s
Encoding Profile: High
Entropy Mode: CABAC
Key Frames: Automatic
subtitle: burn in video

you will get a video profile the same as "Export in Youtube/Vimeo"
