resolve 17.4.2 output blanking

it was a common request to be able to change the output blanking bars to white,, i am facing the problem that this is my default setting and i can not find a way of changing back to black it even at the color page,, any ideas?

I have a similar problem. My output blankings (set for 2,35 under Timelines settings) has turned light gray for some reason, and a diagonal white line also appeared. It’s visible under all pages but goes black again under certain tools in the color tab, the diagonal white line stays.
It appears in all projects and I’v tried to uninstall the program, download it and installed it again.

This is a recent bug. Change your settings to "Use 10-bit precision in viewers if available," and the letterbox borders will appear normal. We can assume it'll be fixed soon.
