Move Optical Flow Caching to Input/FX/Source

PostThu Dec 09, 2021 9:50 am

Hello,

since Optical Flow and especially the Speedwarp option are very GPU intensive tasks, it would be great if these effects would be cachable in the Fusion/source cache. Right now you have to cache the color output, which isn't feasible since changing any grading operator requires recaching the Speedwarp.

Kind Regards,

Anthony

Anyone else who would support this? Can't believe there are only two of us.

Would Render in Place not serve this purpose?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

No, since it's only a workaorund. We already use it for Speedwarp + Neat Video, since Resolve doesn't deliver correct rames for Neat to process. It all needs to be overhauled by BM at this point.
