Correct interpolation on the transform more with splines

PostTue May 17, 2022 7:49 am

Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please im begging somebody on the dev team to fix mod develop or otherwise the issue with the spline interpolation of the x and y coords when moving an image over time via keyframes in the edit page. Since Ive owned DR 15 this has been an issue. Its the most basic of functions. I want to move a png, jpg or mp4 or otherwise over time from point A to point B. Its z space and x and y over time. I dont want the clunk "straight" movement but want to "ease in and ease out" from point to point . As soon as you add a x or y position change and set the keyframes to ease in or out the whole thing moves in an interpolated arc that isnt want I want. I just want to move from point A to B but smooth the end points of start stop movement.. Can we please sort this.. !

+1

Please! Anyone on the Blackmagic dev team, just please open up your software and try animating the position of a clip in the edit page and use the ease in / ease out functions. Look at the result. This doesn't work.

Not sure this would be a Feature, more of a bug fix.

(But I agree, it's desperately needed.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
