assign color tab groups in edit page

would find it extremely helpful if there was a way to assign groups as you would in the color tab in the edit tab timeline, and the media pool. so select, right click, assign group or something.

think it would be very handy

Isn't that what bins are for?

please explain. thank you much. im guessing you mean putting each scene in a bin and then in color tab selecting the clips in bin from media pane, that would work for narrative and commercial but for some massive documentary project where most of the layout is done in timeline with multiple audio sync and video it would be much more efficient if i could box select and add to group based on the final export.

it would also be nice to be able to copy a grade to another clip straight in edit page. a copy grade and past grade would be helpful in edit page for sure.

You mean something straighter than copying the "color" attribute alone just with ALT+C and ALT+V?

Clips need to be in a timeline to be graded, so...I'm not seeing the need for Groups in the Media Pool. If you want clips to be grouped together, for whatever reason, regular bins and Smart Bins are the method.

As for doing Color work on the Edit page, not sure I see that need either. Can you expand a bit?
