Save/Set Default Side Panel Soft Controls

PostThu Dec 01, 2022 2:53 am

On the advanced panel, the side panel soft controls gets reset (in my case to sizing on left and curves on the right) each time the application resets.

I personally like to always have the primaries on the right and have to reset it each time the app starts - could the layout be saved somehow? Or have an option to somewhere to set the default side soft panel controls?

100% agree: I wish we could make the soft panel controls permanent, or at least re-load with the session. I think the issue is the memory cache inside the panels reset every time Resolve is launched, so the user settings are only temporary.

I like having the Window sizing controls permanently on the right side, but I'm bugged that Aspect and Soft aren't included.

Ahh I see, it's all handled in the panel rather than through the software makes sense.
Theres a spare USB port isn't there? perhaps a little usb drive could be used to store the settings :p

why not save it with the [user preferences]? when you recall them, the light of the panel adjust, IWBNI it reload the preferred configuration also....

+1. There's gotta be a way to make this nifty feature of the V2 panels a lot more practical.
