Need Font Preview and Font Favorite button Urgent (Bolywood)

PostWed Feb 08, 2023 4:17 pm

I have discussed this same message with Anish Prithviraj Sent: Mon Dec 19, 2022, 1:33 pm
Hello Sir, My name is Dany Dabra (Bollywood)

We recently switched RED TO URSA MINI ...and PR to Davinchi resolve for Colour grading and Editing..& all Compositing work on Red Chilli...

But The first thing We all Editor Encounter in RedRIVE is, There is no Font Preview on the Resolve, Like Premiere Pro OR MS Word. See Image Below

As you guys know, in Bollywood, We make at least 4 Music Remix Video Per MOVIE.
So, We have at least 1000+ Font, Every time we have to Seach through all the fonts for our desired Font, Because there IS NO FONT PREVIEW LIKE ADOBE,
I just don't know WHY.

And I talk to Many YouTubers and editors, and All Guys are saying the same thing. It needs to be changed for easier Compositing and Editing experience

just think I want to remix or Edit Stomup Video and i have to go Through all the 1000+ texts to find texts desired text

Just adding the Font Preview, will Save Hours of time...And WHEN WE all are supporting BLACK MAGIC Cameras and DaVinci Resolve

Hoping for your Response !!!

We have to move the mouse to the font to see the Font style, Out of 1000+ fonts.
Why?? just Why ??
Let's say I am Creating motion Graphics. I don't know which font Will look better. Then I have to move the mouse to all 1000+ fonts to see the Font style.
Is it even possible when u are working on a PRO ENVIRONMENT?

a (silly) workaround is to use another software like Photoshop to reduce the teh choices of font to the 3-4 you would like, at the moment there is not too much love for that feature.

Why don’t you use a font manager? I mean installing a thousand fonts is just crazy.
With a font manager you can sort, group and preview your fonts and activate them when necessary.

That’s what professional designers have done for decades.

Have a look at this tool:

Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
