Set a subtitles preset for the whole project

PostSun Mar 26, 2023 6:21 pm

I often have to copy and paste subtitles between timelines.
I do them generally after a rough edit, on an temporary timeline without any effects that could slow me down, then I copy and past it on the final one.

It should be in the Project Settings under the Subtitles tab... with a preview of how it would look like.

I know, but the feature request is to be able to set default settings for all projects

I'm constantly have to deal with this unfortuntaley.

I work with temporary timeline, I do the transcription and the basic editing on it, then I copy everything to a second timeline where I work on the next step, color grading, etc, and this timeline in nested in a master one.

So it would be nice to be able to select a subtitles preset for a whole project, with a checkbox we could activate and deactivate at will when needed.

I always tweak the subtitles settings, so it's getting annoying to have xx amont of them in the presets list to be able to use it how I want.
